Researchers from the Faculty of Humanities are getting involved: they visit schools on a voluntary basis as science ambassadors to talk about their field of research and professional careers and answer questions about science and research.
The aim of the science ambassadors is not only to share their expertise with pupils, but above all to inspire them - because curiosity and passion are contagious!
As a teacher, you can easily request a science ambassador. Bring an expert for the desired subject area directly into the classroom (Styria-wide) or use the option of online visits. Schools in rural areas in particular benefit from this offer.
You can choose between school visits, where the topic is agreed individually in advance, or fixed themed workshops with an average duration of one or two teaching units.
