Practical training (abroad)
Before practical training:
- Page 1 and 2 of this form (pdf) must be completed by the student.
- The signature of the chairperson of the curricular committee responsible must be obtained by the student.
End of practical training:
- The company/institution must confirm the completion of the practical training (page 3 or 4).
After end of practical training:
- The completed form (pages 1 to 3/4) must be submitted to the chairperson of the curricular committee responsible by the student.
- The practical training is recorded and confirmed on UNIGRAZonline by the administrator responsible at Institute from the chairperson of the curricular committee responsible
Before practical training:
- Page 1 and 2 of this form (pdf) must be completed by the student and submitted to the dean’s office.
End of practical training:
- The company/institution must confirm completion of the practical training (page 3 or 4).
After end of practical training:
- The confirmation pages of the form (page 3 or 4) must be submitted to the dean's office by the student.
- The practical training is recorded and confirmed on UNIGRAZonline by the administrator responsible at the dean's office
- The student is notified exclusively via the e-mail address provided by the University of Graz once the practical training has been confirmed and the documents can be picked up.
civilian service and voluntary social year

The performance of an extraordinary civilian service/voluntary social year can be accredited as a vocational/subject-relevant practical training within the framework of the free elective subjects.
According to § 10 paragraph 3 of the statutes, study law part, according to which one week of full employment corresponds to 1.5 ECTS credits each, the maximum of 12 ECTS credits to be recognized can be exhausted in any case, if your studies include less than 12 ECTS credits in free elective subjects, correspondingly less.
The application is made afterwards in the dean's office by means of a form (pdf) and presentation of the allocation notice from the Civilian Service Agency.
