You can choose from 20 different bachelor's programmes at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. A bachelor's program comprises 6 semesters (minimum study period), in the scope of which courses and examinations totalling 180 ECTS credit points must be completed.
Bachelor’s programmes in Arts and Humanities not only provide you with well-founded subject-specific educational content, but also other useful skills, such as critical thinking and evaluation of information, processing of knowledge content as well as research and professional copywriting skills. Thus, bachelor’s programmes in Arts and Humanities are a sound basis for vocational training in the fields of e.g. media, culture or public relations.
Due to the uniform structure of these programmes, it is possible to change your field of study after one year without losing study time or study grants ‒ provided the curriculum is followed.
Students successfully completing any of our bachelor’s programmes are awarded the degree "Bachelor of Arts" (BA). After graduation, you can enrol in either a consecutive (e.g. BA History ‒ MA History) or non-consecutive (e.g. BA History ‒ MA DDP History of South-Eastern Europe) master's programme.
