Students aspiring to a scientific career at or outside our university, or who wish to deepen their specialist knowledge, can opt for a six-semester doctoral programme. The Faculty of Arts and Humanities offers the possibility to complete
- the “Doctoral programme of Philosophy" or
- the "Doctoral programme of Antiquity and Modernity in a European Context"
which awards the degree of "Doctor of Philosophy" (Dr. phil.). The specific subject matter of the dissertation is not reflected in the academic degree.
